- Meditation/Yoga- I personally listen to music and stretch for 10 minutes, breathing with 5 in, 5 hold, and 5 out rhythms. UFC fighter BJ Penn stretches 30 minutes before bed every night and he is one of the most flexible and relaxed dudes on the planet. Breathing techniques are something to look into. Breathing for 3 minutes with your tongue out of your mouth is good. This forces you to take larger breaths and opens your airways.
- Phosphatidylserine- If you have the money it might be worth it. Phosphatidylserine lowers cortisol levels, so it isn't a bad idea to take it early in the day or in the afternoon.
- Take a B-Complex- This is one of the top stress-combating vitamins. If this alone doesn't do the trick, add magnesium at night.
- Look into your testosterone levels- If they are too low, go for testosterone replacement.
- Practice Gratitude Training and Have a sense of humor- If you live in America you automatically have many things to be thankful for. Think of three things every night you can be thankful for.
- Try psychedelic mushrooms- http://www.zmescience.com/medicine/magic-mushrooms-can-treat-depression-anxiety-and-addiction-study-shows-1243244/
Good luck, and if you have any other advice let me know.
